In aluminum window systems which utilize thermal-break stripping laces, the internal and external extrusions are designed and coated separately. These profiles are combined with polyamide strips positioned strategically to provide the lowest thermal conductivity. After clamping the polyamide strips in between the external and internal aluminum elements, a special machine is used to create a single profile from the three separate components. In addition to providing an efficient thermal barrier, this final frame has the same strength, structural integrity and durability as a single conventional extruded frame. We ensure that the final thermally insulated frame does not exceed the desired thickness required by most architects and designers. |

Our thermally broken aluminum doors and windows offer the following advantages: |
Lower Energy Costs and Improved Comfort
Using a thermal-break aluminum frame for your door or window will help you to keep your home warm during winter and cool during summer. Since the heat in your home will not escape easily after heating it up, you will need less energy to keep it warm. Similarly, during the hot summer months, your air conditioner will run more efficiently because the heat from the atmosphere will not be able to flow into your home through the aluminum door or window frame. Ultimately, thermally insulated windows and doors will offer you greater comfort. |
Design Flexibility
When you use stripping lace thermal insulation, you can have a wider break in the aluminum frame that will provide maximum thermal performance. Apart from the insulation provided by the glass reinforced polyamide strips, they also possess similar strength and thermal expansion properties as the aluminum extrusion. This ensures that the insulated profiles will be stable, strong and consistent. In addition, this particular insulation method allows you to have frames with two colors. Since the internal and external parts are completed before joining them, you can have one coated with green while the other section has a blue color. |
Lightweight
The glass reinforced polyamide thermal barrier is very light so it does not make the aluminum frame heavy. Sliding windows and doors with thermal insulation will still glide smoothly when you open and close them. Also, casement windows will swing out smoothly without you noticing any difference in performance. However, windows that are double-glazed will be significantly heavier because of the extra weight of the glass. |
Whether you are an architect involved in designing or remodeling projects, a building owner who is concerned about energy costs, or a home owner who desires to enjoy maximum comfort within the house, the thermal-break stripping lace doors and windows will meet your needs.
