Aluminum is one of the main materials used for making casings for speakers, hard drive enclosures, network hubs and switches, and other communication devices. These gadgets require a material that is light, ductile, heat resistant, corrosion resistant and durable. Aluminum offers all this qualities and also looks very attractive when it is given a powder coated finish. In particular, aluminum's capacity to remain stable at very high temperatures makes it a prime choice for many acoustic devices including high wattage speakers.

Light Weight
Aluminum is a strong lightweight metal that weighs less than one third of the weight of steel. That is why our extruded aluminum profiles greatly reduce the total weight of all acoustic components we manufacture. The low-weight aluminum profile reduces dead weight and increases the load carrying capacity. By modifying the composition of the aluminum alloy used to create the frame, its strength can be increased to meet the demands of the specific application.

Quicker Acoustic Response
We produce aluminum high quality car audio components including aluminum-coned speakers and subwoofers. These speakers provide better audio quality than polypropylene coned subwoofers. Aluminum poses superior ductility and durability and provides a faster and more accurate response to low-frequency bass sounds. Aluminum coned speakers can withstand more heat than polypropylene because it has a melting point that is greater than 600 degrees Centigrade while polypropylene will melt at 121 degrees centigrade. That is why it is possible to run the subwoofer speakers at a very high wattage without any form of failure or defects.

Conductivity and Reflectivity
Aluminum is a great conductor of electricity and heat. Relative to its weight, it is nearly twice as good an electric conductor as copper. Also, aluminum reflects heat efficiently. Hence, it will quickly transfer any heat that is built up in acoustic components like speakers due to high wattage. This will allow the component to provide great sound without overheating or melting. In addition, because of aluminum's high conductivity, acoustic gadgets with aluminum housing are very effective for screening out electromagnetic (EMC) radiation.

Aesthetic Appeal
Aluminum's ductility makes it possible to create amazing shapes through extrusion. After the original silver-colored aluminum component is produced, it can be coated in various ways to create a perfect finish. Over 200 RAL colors may be used to finish the external surface of the component through a process known as powder coating.

Durability and Corrosion Resistance
Aluminum generates a natural protective oxide coating which is corrosion resistant. To improve the surface resistance to corrosion, we use various types of surface treatment including lacquering, painting, and anodizing.
