At our advanced production facility, complicated fin structures are created by forcing raw aluminum through extrusion dies. These sophisticated fin profiles permit greater heat dissipation because of the increased surface area. It eliminates the cost and time required to produce the same complex shape from a block of aluminum.

Our heat sinks provide very efficient heat transfer because of their surface area. Each radiator is designed to maximize the surface area through a large number of fins and spaces. Unlike conventional heat sinks, our aluminum extruded heat sinks are produced with the most recent manufacturing techniques to create special shapes that can provide additional surface area for efficient cooling. In addition, careful thought has been put into the design of these sinks so that the distance between the fins is optimized.

Cost Savings
The extrusion process we use to manufacture our radiators and reduce the number of secondary machining operations provides substantial cost savings for our customers. Complex shapes and fins may be produced with low cost dies. This eliminates the need for additional processing operations after the initial component has been created. Also, our heat sinks offer a favorable weight to performance ratio.

Multiple Shapes and Sizes are Available
We have extruded aluminum radiators which are designed to meet the needs of various industries. Examples of these heat sinks include the flatback, L-style, multi-channel, center channel, mounting feet, T-style, H-style, double-sided, mounting shelf, press pack, power module, modular enclosure and other miscellaneous shapes. Some of our heat sinks are supplied with chromate finish, which provides extra corrosion resistance. This chromate finish is also used as a primer before the final addition of powder coating.

Customization for Various Electrical Applications
We manufacture a wide variety of heat sinks for electrical and electronics applications. For instance, we provide extruded aluminum heat sinks for power semiconductors. This helps to prevent pre-mature failure of these fragile components. Our heat sinks may be used for power modules and isolated flat-base devices. In addition, multiple finishing and plating options may be requested for when ordering our heat sinks. These include: anodization with multiple color options, as well as anodizing with hard-coated black. Other anodizing options include bright chromate dip, nickel and chromate. If you need a new extruded profile for a heat sink or radiator, we can work in partnership with you to design and extrude a profile that meets and surpasses your thermal or mechanical specifications.
