Through our unique aluminum extrusion process, we produce a wide variety of doors and windows with thermal insulation and multiple glazing such as sliding doors, casement doors, sliding windows, and casement windows. Aluminum extrusion offers many advantages over other manufacturing processes like casting, forming and welding. The extrusion process is one of the most cost effective methods of producing parts like window and door frames that have a constant cross section or profile. Casting and machining a long piece of metal to a specified cross section is usually more expensive than using extrusion to fabricate the same piece. The cost of scrap metal and tooling will almost always be higher when extrusion is not used.

In addition, the cost of the aluminum extrusion die is usually much cheaper than welding jigs and permanent mold casting. While parts produced by sand casting usually require extensive machining before they can be used, extrusion creates a surface that requires little or no additional finishing. Extrusion dies are also constructed faster than casting molds. Many standard extrusion dies are already in stock so we can produce components and products for you without charging an exorbitant die/mold service fee for most standard components like window and door frames.

Extruded aluminum may be used to produce very strong parts with considerably low weight. In fact, the weight of an aluminum extruded component is usually about one-third of the weight of a steel or brass rod of the same physical dimension. Aluminum also has a self-protecting thin oxide film that makes it corrosion resistant. Aluminum extruded shapes may be bent or formed easily with conventional equipment. They may also be joined together by adhesive bonding, fastening, soldering or brazing.

Aluminum also possess excellent thermal and electrical conductivity. That is why it is commonly used for acoustics, high wattage lamps, heat sinks and other heat-transfer applications.
